Spring 2010: James Kugel

On Monday, April 12th, 2009, the Annual Caroline and Joseph S. Gruss Lecture was presented by James Kugel, Tikvah Fellow, NYU School of Law, Starr Professor of Hebrew Literature, Harvard University (emeritus)
and Professor of Bible, Bar Ilan University, Israel, at 6:30 PM in The Tishman Auditorium located in Vanderbilt Hall, NYU School of Law. The lecture was entitled "Judaism: An Odd Sort of Religion of Laws." Professor Kugel was introduced by Professor Moshe Halbertal, Co-Director of the Tikvah Center and current Gruss Professor at NYU School of Law. Following the lecture, there was a short cocktail reception.
